WORKSHOP ON “OS INSTALLATION” by ISE department

Under the banner of IEI, Department of Information Science & Engineering organised a workshop on “Operating System Installation” for 3rd year students on 26th September 2019. The workshop was conducted by the students of 5th semester, Ms.Mahima A Shejwadkar, Ms.Mayuri Raj V B and Mr.Salith Ziyan Ahmad. Students were explained about the basics of Operating System including types, history of OS and functions. Demos were given for the installation of Ubuntu OS, Windows OS and Kali Linux OS. Session also had ‘Multi OS installation’ and ‘Installation of OS on MAC platform’ topics explained.

The workshop was co-ordinated by the IEI Staff Advisor, Mrs.Supriya A V and Mr.Shreejith K B.
