Session on Intellectual Property Rights – Case Study

A session on INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS – CASE STUDY was conducted by department of MBA in association with Institution’s Innovation Council on 23rd December 2024 for first year MBA students. The objective of the session was to enhance understanding of IPR by examining real-world applications and disputes and to understand the impact of IPR on innovation, creativity, and economic growth. Dr. Lokesh K S, Assistant Professor in the department of Aeronautical Engineering, SIT, Mangaluru Valachil, was the resource person. A total of 100 students attended the session and understood the importance of IPR, the IPR issues in various industries, analyzed real-life cases, and identified the role of legal frameworks in resolving IPR disputes.
