The Inaugural function of ENVISION-2023, National level Techno-Cultural fest was held on 28th March 2023 in Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru. Mrs. Laxmi Shetty, Associate Manager - Talent Acquisition Robosoft Technologies, Udupi was the chief guest. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, the Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, presided over the function. Dr. Ramakrishna Shabaraya, Principal, Srinivas College of Pharmacy was the Guest of Honour.

Envision-2023 - an inter-college Techno Cultural festival was organized in SIT on 28th and 29th of March, 2023. On this occasion, various events were conducted by the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering under four categories: Mega cultural, Mega technical, technical events and Non technical events. The events were as follows:Dance rumble- Mega cultural eventRobo soccer- Mega technical eventBe the sloth and Dimaag ka bharosa- Non technical eventsSimuquest and Clash of Circuit- Technical eventsStudents from various colleges in and around Mangalore participated in these events.

ENVISION-2023-CSE

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering student association ASCEE successfully organized a Mega Technical coding event Hackathon, sponsored by IT Mentorship platform Skillhouse on 28th March 2023 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru. More than 40 students from various Engineering colleges around the city actively participated in this contest on the occasion of Envision 2023 - an inter-college Techno Cultural fest. Basically the event had two rounds,Logic Building and Coding. The entire event was organized by Mr. U Manvith Kumar and Ms. Priya. The first prize was bagged by Ajeeb P and Afnan B K and second prize by Anirudh K and Karthik N G. Skillhouse CEO Mr. Vinod Kumar congratulated all the winners.

The student Association of Marine Engineering AIMES organized a technical talk on “Career at sea” on 16th March 2023. Mr. Chethan, an alumnus of SIT, currently working as a Marine Engineer with Wilhelmsen ship management Limited was invited as the resource person. Mr. Chethan discussed various career opportunities within the shipping industry and shared his personal experiences as a junior engineer working onboard ships.
