Talk on “Global sulphur CAP 2020- A step towards pollution control”

Marine Engineering Association, AIMES organized a Technical talk on “Global sulphur CAP 2020- A step towards pollution control” for Marine Engineering students on 25th October 2019 by Mr. Chethan Patwal, 3rd Assistant Engineer, Valles steamship Ltd. He briefed the students about the IMO 2020 sulphur CAP. He also explained the students about its impact on the current shipping environment and the operational aspects that have to be addressed by the engineers on board ship. AIMES faculty advisor Prof. Nithin Joshuva, Prof. Vijay Kumar, Prof Adithya J Salian and Prof. Chandra Jogi, HOD of Marine Engineering were present on the occasion.
