Technical Talk on “Indian Aeronautics and Aerospace Projects and Vision 2020 of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam”

A batch of 105 students of 3rd, 5th and 7th semester Aeronautical Engineeringalong with all the faculty members of the department participated in the technical talk on “Indian Aeronautics & Aerospace Projects and Vision 2020 of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam” by the resource person Mr. Jayaprakash Rao K, Former Public Relations Officer, DRDO, Bengaluru. Mr. Jayaprakash Rao spoke about Indian Missiles like BrahMos ICBM, Project Chandrayaan of ISRO, LCA Tejas of HAL and short working history of HAL, NAL and DRDO. Later, he discussed about UAVs, LCA Navy Flights and certain career aspects of training programs of Indian Defence Academy. Then, very rare video clipping of all these were shown. He also spoke a lot about Vision 2020 of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
