Handson Workshop on Wireshark Network Packet Analyzer

CSI student chapter of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore (Member No: I01574) has conducted workshop on 08th November 2019 on the topic “Wireshark Network Packet Analyzer“ for the benefit of BE students. Mr. Mohan K Department of computer science, SIT Mangalore, was the resource person. He demonstrated the live packet contents and explained the header format of packets. He also explained the use of wireshark tool in network security. It is used for network troubleshooting, analysis, software and communications protocol development. He asked students to use this tool to analyse the packet if any security issues found in received packet.
