Environmental Awareness Program titled “Save Nature for Future”

An Environmental Awareness Program titled “Save Nature for Future” was conducted by final year A section students of Computer Science and Engineering department on 31st October 2019 under Green Cell for the benefit of 3rd semester students. The objective of the programme is to involve students in environmental friendly activities which will help them grow into better individuals who can also make a difference to the communities.

A Presentation was given on “Save our Earth” and in the presentation, second year students were made aware of the importance of earth and why we should save our Mother Earth. This programme focused towards spreading awareness about environment and they described it by enacting a skit and also conducted various activities.

Students learnt that trees play a major role in ecological balance and by planting trees we can improve our environment. Every little effort on our part to save the Earth and its environment can make a difference.

The program was coordinated and guided by Ms.Gangothri, Assoc. Prof, CSE Dept and member of Green cell.
