Deepavali Celebrations 2019-20

Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalooru was witness to grand Deepavali celebrations on November 01st, 2019. The occasion was symbolized by Dr. Shivakumar G. S., HOD, CSE Dept., by lighting a lamp. The students of the college performed the rituals of Go Puja, Baleendra Puja and Tulasi Puja themselves in accordance with tradition along with the chanting of the mantras. The programme was followed by ‘Pot-Breaking’, ‘Pili Nalike’ & ‘Chende’. The college was decorated by the students on occasion of this celebration. All the members of the institution participated devotedly. At the end prasadam and sweets were distributed to all those who were present.
