An Outreach program by AMARA in association with Ramakrishna Mission

In order to sensitize and create an awareness of the social responsibility among the students and the general public, the staff and students of department of Aeronautical & Automobile engineering, Srinivas institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru conducted a “Swachha Abhiyaan” in association with Ramakrishna Mission on 29th September 2019 at central market, Mangaluru. The faculty advisors Mr. Deepak Raj P.Y, Mr. Avinash H.S, Mr. Prakash S.T, Mr. Santosh Kumar K, and Mr. Jagadeesh B along with the students cleaned Rosario Church road and created an awareness among the local public about the need for keeping the surroundings clean, to ensure a healthy living. The program was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Ramakrishna N. Hegde, HOD, Automobile engineering. The department is looking forward for more social activities in the near future, in this academic year 2019-20.
