ARCHIHOLICS AND TALK BY CHRISTOPER BENNIGER at Srinivas Institute of Technology

A Three day cultural fest ARCHIHOLICS was conducted in Deptartment of Architecture, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangalore on 27 to 29 February 2020. The chief guest of this function was internationally acclaimed architect Ar. Christoper Charles Benninger and Ar. Ramprasad Akkiseti, Managing Director of CCBA Designs. The Fest was inaugurated by the architect Benninger, was welcomed and had a talk with the faculty members and students of architecture. Later he visited the department and seen the models done by the students and appreciated the work done.

On this occasion a talk on “Timeless Architecture” by the Architect Christopher Benninger was organized at Bharath Cinemas, Mangaluru. The Program presided by Honrable Chancellor of Srinivas Univeristy, Mangaluru, CA. A. Raghavendra Rao, Ar. Prof. Christopher Benninger and Ar. Ramprasad Akkiseti, Managing direct of CCBA Designs were the Chief Guests for the program. Dr. A Srinivas Rao, Pro Chancellor of Srinivas University, Smt. Vijayalakshmi R Rao, Director, Srinivas Group of Colleges, Mangaluru & Smt. Mitra S Rao, Secretary, Mangalore were the guest of honour for the day.

More than 300 students, architects and faculties from Srininivas School of Architecture participated in the talk. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Ar. Kumarchandra, Dean School of Architecture, Srinivas Institute of Technology organized the talk along with faculty and students coordinators from department of architecture.
