A workshop on “Beginer Roadmap to Devops and Chef Tools”

CSI-student chapter of SIT A workshop on “Beginer Roadmap to Devops and Chef Tools” was conducted On 17th October 2020 using webex platform. Ms. Thejaswini Anith K A, System Engineer, Cerner Corporation, Bengaluru, was the resource person for this workshop. The resource person gave a lot of information regarding the basics of Devops and what are the benefits of it and how it able to solve the problems occurred due to traditional methods. DevOps is a set of practices that combines software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops). Later she gave demo about how we can use Chef tool. This webinar was primarily intended for students of CSE, ISE and MCA. The session was more than hour and half. More than 150 students were actively participated in this webinar. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal and Dr. Shivakumar G. S. HOD, CSE, were present on this workshop. The event was compered by Ms. Diksha Kumari, Final year student, Dept of CSE. The entire event was coordinated by Mr. Manjesh R, CSI – Student Branch Coordinator.
