The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organized an outreach program to Milk diary Kulshekar on 8th December 2023. The Dakshina Kannada Co-Operative Milk Producers Union Limited Mangalore Diary which plays a crucial role in the local community, is a notable establishment involved in the production and distribution of dairy products. It is a large-scale facility equipped with modern machinery for milk processing. Its sources milk from local farmers and processes it into various dairy products, including milk, yogurt, cheese, and more.During our visit, the assigned guide from Kulshekar campus given information on different stages of various milk product processing. The process involves pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging. The dairy adheres to strict quality control measures to ensure the production of safe and high-quality dairy products.Our students took the opportunity to interact with the staff and processing team. They provided insights into their daily operations, challenges faced, and the significance of their work in supporting the local agricultural community.A total of 69 students from 7th semester visited to Dakshina Kannada Co-Operative Milk Producers Campus, Kulshekar, Mangalore.
