Intellectual property rights and prior art search

The AIMES, Marine Students’ association and IPR Cell of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil jointly organised a session on “Intellectual property rights and prior art search” on 03/11/2021 for the final year Marine Students. The session was conducted by Prof. Chandra Jogi, HOD-incharge of Marine Engineering. He briefed about importance of prior art search in doing project work and filing the patent application. He emphasised the students to utilize the online resource to write the publications for their projects. Also he explained about patent, trademark and copy right act related to research project and publications. All the Marine Engineering faculty members were present on this occasion.
