Fresher’s day at Srinivas Institute of Technology

The fresher’s day of the first year UG and PG students was held on March 12, 2022, at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil Mangalore. Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Pro Chancellor, Srinivas University, Mangaluru and Vice President, A. Shama Rao foundation, inaugurated and presided over the function.The programme started with the invocation by Sriraksha P Acharya and Disha Rao. Dr. A. Srinivas Rao in his presidential address stressed on the quality of education and called upon the students to develop leadership qualities, professional and communicational skills, he asked the students to apply the theoretical knowledge into practice. He advised the students to achieve their goal through hard work and determination. Prize was distributed by the dignitaries to the students who won in science fest competitions. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D., Principal welcomed and briefed about the campus activities and achievements of the institution. Dr. Suryanarayana K., Head – Physics Department, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was anchored by Prof. Padmanayana & Ms. Ramyashree.
