ENVISION-2022

A National Level Techno-Cultural-Games Fest Envision 22 was organized by Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru on 14th and 15th of June, 2022. The inauguration was held on 14th June 2022, 10:30 AM at AC Seminar Hall, Srinivas Institute of Technology. Dr. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao, Honourable Chancellor, Srinivas University, and President, A. Shama Rao Foundation presided over the function. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sumanth Padival, Head of India Operations, Wipfli India. Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Honourable Pro-Chancellor, Srinivas University, and Vice President, A. Shama Rao Foundation, was the guest of Honour. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D., Principal, Dr. Prasad P., Convener, Ms. Tasmiya, Student Council President, and Mr. Saad Salman, Envision student coordinator were present. In this fest more than 1600 participants from over 50 colleges were participated in various technical, cultural and games events. The technical events were organized on both days under different Departments. Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering Department Association organized Autonautix which included Pit Stop, Guerilla Welfare, Water Rocket, Super 60, and Slow Bike Race. Mechanical Engineering and Marine Engineering Department Association organized Ignis Et Aqua which included Bridge It, Black Pearl, Fix in the Mind, Road Rash 69, Ace of Race (GoKart), and Make it Fancy. Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department Association organized Trivia which included Ideathon, Wattbug debug, and Guess N Burst. Department of Architecture organized Milaap which includes Thrill Fill, Yummy Town, Collage Poster Making, Style the Outfit, and Skyrapers. Information Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Department Association organized Avishkaar which includes Corporate Quiz, Logic Tenacity, Tech Hunt,and Trace Torch. Computer Science and Engineering Department Association organized Techshout which includes Code Pandora, E-Talash, Riddle-O-Brands, Greedy Knight, and Valorant. Paper presentation is kept open under all the departments. The cultural events under the cultural club Lalitharanga was kept on both days which includes Thandava (Solo Dance), Kalakuncha (Pencil Sketching, Painting, Face Painting), Gana (Solo Singing), Navarasa (Group Dance), and Mr/Ms. Envision. Mini Futsal (5v5 Fotball tournament), Chess, Armwrestling, and BGMI are the events under sports and games. The league matches of Mini Futsal were organized on 7th and 8th June 2022. 42 teams from various institutions participated. Envision Cricket tournament was organized on 10th and 11th June 2022, 28 teams participated.On the first day an attractive competition was organized, step up, the dance battle which was judged by Mr. Sanket Gaonkar the Dance India Dance Season 6 winner. He has also performed during the event. “Dollu Kunitha” a majour popular drum dance of Karnataka was performed by Shree Maruthi Janapada Kala Thanda on 15th June 2022. The movie crew of “Sounds and Lights” entertained the students and appreciated the students. The valedictory function and prize distribution to the winners were done on 15th June 2022. Dr. A. Shabaraya was the chief guest of the function. The two days event was end up with a musical evening by ABCD Musical Group.
