A career guidance program “Engineering your future” was organized by Skillhouse at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru on 19th December 2023 for the third year students of CS&E, IS&E and AIDS Departments. Mr. Vinod Kumar, CEO, Aykan was the Resource Person for this program.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vinod Kumar, CEO, Aykan said that the Skillhouse platform provides mentorship-based training programs in different skills required by the IT industry. He motivated the students by walking through the success stories of students who have been trained at Skillhouse and landed jobs at reputed IT firms and elaborated on the importance of understanding concepts and applying them. He highlighted the importance of training in the .NET Framework and C# programming, which are useful for creating web APIs and emphasized the essential skillsets in Web API development that the market demands and provided preparation strategies for students to acquire these skills, positioning them for core roles in the industry.Mr. Prajwal Bhandary, Operations Manager, Aykan and Mrs. Daphne, Business Development Manager, Sales & Placement co-ordinated the entire event.
