ALTIUS 2021-22

“ALTIUS 2K21”, an Intra College Technical Competition was held on 1-12-2021. On this occasion, the Department of Electronics and Communication organized five events namely Paper Presentation, Quiz Time, Codesense, Ideathon and Hardware-Software Debugging. Paper Presentation: This event was coordinated by Sushma, Keerthi and Priyatha.The participants presented their concepts very well. The winners of this event are Suchitra from 3rd sem ECE and Pooja D.J from 3rd sem CS. The event was judged by Mr. Rakesh Mallya and Mr. Gourish Hegde from the ECE department. Quiz Time: 17 Teams had participated in this event. The event was coordinated by Poorvi, Pranil and Kavitha from 7 th sem ECE. The preliminary round was technical MCQs, the prefinal round was rapid-fire and the Final round was a quiz buzzer round. The winners of this event are Nikith from 5th sem IS, Adnan from 5th sem ECE and Souhardha and Shayil from 3rd sem ECE. The event was coordinated by Ms. Marina Chandy from the ECE department. Codesense: Participants were given questions prior to the event and solutions for the event have to be presented either in hardware or simulation. The winners of this event are Prajan, Bhuvanendra and Sanath Kumar, Akash from 5 th sem ECE. The event was judged by Ms. Flavita Pinto and Mr. Clitus D’ Souza from the ECE department. Ideathon: The participants have presented the abstract of their idea based on a theme. The winners of this event are Jibin T.B from 3rd sem AI and Sanina from 7th sem B.Arch. The event was judged by Dr. Shashidar Kini from the MCA department and Dr. Soorya Krishna K from the ECE department Hardware and Software Debugging: The preliminary round was technical MCQs and in the second round, the participants had to debug 1 question in hardware and 1 in software. The winners of this event are Sanath Kumar, Akash A.M from 5th sem ECE and Yashwanth Surya Kumar, Jishnu Prakash from 7th sem ECE. The event was judged by Mr. Sathish Kumar from the ECE department.
