World Water Day

NSS Unit celebrated World Water Day on 22/03/22 in association with Institutions Innovation Council. Prof.Ramyashree welcomed the gathering. Prof. Udayshankar B of Mechanical Department introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering. Chief Guest of the function Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde, Vice-Principal, HOD Civil Department, SUIET, Mukka, elaborated the gathering on techniques of water conservation and also elucidated on importance of water .President of the function Dr.Shrivasa Mayya D delivered presidential address on “Groundwater, making the invisible visible” which is the theme of the world water day 2022.He also encouraged students to do Innovative projects on conservation of water. Dr.Ramakrishna Hegde, conducted various competition to the students, winners were given prizes. Dr.Surya Narayana, HOD, Physics Department & Prof. Gopal Krishna , HOD,Chemistry Department were the judges for the competitions.NSS officer P.Rakesh Mallya performed the vote of thanks.
