World Entrepreneurs Day-2024

Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangalore, in collaboration with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), celebrated World Entrepreneurs Day on August 21, 2024. MsArpita Shetty of 4thsemCSBS Department welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief guest Mr Sudhir Bhandarkar Bantwal, Management consultant. Mr Sudhir Bhandarkar Bantwaldelivered a talk on the topic Entrepreneurial Mindset – SomeThoughts. The program drew approximately 200 students from various engineering disciplines. As a token of appreciation, Dr. Soorya Krishna K presented a memento toMr Sudhir Bhandarkar Bantwal. In his address, Mr. Sudhir elucidated the concept of entrepreneurship through relevant real-life examples, aiming to inspire the next generation of business leaders. He emphasized critical success factors for entrepreneurs, including perseverance, never compromising on quality, being hands-on, maintaining financial discipline, focusing on value creation, ensuring compliance, and building a strong network. This event provided valuable insights and practical knowledge to aspiring entrepreneurs among the student body.
