Workshop on Innovate to Elevate Docker's Future Unleashed

A One-day workshop on Innovate to Elevate: Docker's Future Unleashed was inaugurated at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru on 18th November 2023. The workshop was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Institution Innovation Council (IIC).Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of the College urged the students to get the maximum benefits from this workshop. Dr. Ramakrishna N Hegde, Convenor, Institution Innovation Council (IIC), in his inaugural address spoke about the significance of innovation in the field of engineering motivated the students to make use of such platform and incorporate in their carrier. Mr. Diksheeth Rajkumar, Senior software engineer, Unicourt, Mangaluru the resource person, stressed the need of Docker platform and the importance of emerging technologies in academics. Mr. Dikshith N S, Firmware Engineer, Itron Inc, Bengaluru urged the students to be more focused on the current requirements of software industries. Mr. Ashay V B, Co-founder, UX Designer at Pulsecode Technology Pvt. Ltd, Mangaluru, motivated the students to be successful entrepreneur using Docker platform which is the current trend in the market. Prof. Ravishankara K, Head of Computer Science Department appreciated Institution Innovation Council (IIC) for this event that nurtures technical skills and provide knowledge on emerging technologies.Prof. Guruprasanna J K welcomed the gatherings and Prof. Harishma K V delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Pooja and Ms. Shivani compered the entire event. A Handson training session was conducted after the formal function. More than 100 students actively participated in this workshop.
