Workshop on Aero modelling-2022

Department of Aeronautical Engineering under Aero club organized one-day workshop on Aero modelling on 13/06/2022 at Srinivas Institute of Technology. Workshop is composed of presenting the basic calculations followed by Hands-on session on design and developing RC models and then assembly of the components. Mr. Suraj, Member of the Aeroclub presented the basic concepts as a prerequisite of workshop. Team Volunteers guided all the Participants to learn the design aspects of RC plane and thereby trained how to build an RC plane using the provided RC kit which helps them to learn the things and carry their own model once completed. The workshop was conducted through offline mode; around 36 from 2nd year and 8 students from 3rd year Aeronautical Engineering were participated actively. The Workshop was coordinated by Dr. Ramakrishna N. Hegde, Head of the Department and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, SIT, Mangalore.Based on the early completion of the model, first and second place winning teams are declared, below are the details.
