Workshop on “TWO WHEELER SERVICE CAMP

Department of Automobile Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, organized one day workshop “TWO-WHEELER SERVICE CAMP - 2023”, for the students on 7th December 2023 in the Automobile Department workshop. Shri. Vighnesh Acharya, Proprietor, Sri Durga Motors, Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the chief guest and gave a hands-on training to students related service and maintenance of all types of two-wheeler vehicles.Dr. Ramakrishna N. Hegde, HOD, Automobile Engineering, in his speech explained the importance of service sector in Automobile and asked the student to improve their observation skills, which could help them to learn and analyze the problems. He also advised the students to take part in the technical hands-on activities, so that they can get practical knowledge. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D. Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru wished the students to have a fruitful interaction with the expert during the workshop and motivated the students to participate in skill development workshops regularly.Mr. Satwik K welcomed the gathering. Mr. Naresh Choudary, Student coordinator delivered the vote of thanks. Master of ceremony was done by Mr. Harshith.The workshop was coordinated by Mr. Prakash S T and Mr. Varun N, Assistant professor, Automobile Engineering Department. More than 40 students actively participated in the workshop and more than 20 two wheelers were serviced. This workshop helped students to understand the basic check points required in general service and other maintenance such as brake service, oil change, body water service of two wheelers.The workshop was successfully completed with the support from faculties of Automobile Department, HOD, Principal and the Management.
