Workshop of two wheeler service camp 19

A highly experienced team, committed to a safe and sustainable work culture, is ensuring the addition of happy customers every year.Six Students of 6th semester , Department of Marine Engineering successfully completed 28 days (08.09.2021 to 06.10.2021) internship programme at Elite Engineering Industries , Mangaluru as a part of MOU activity . They were able to study basics of mechanical fabrication of pressure vessels and storage tanks along with structural fabricationDepartment of Automobile Engineering of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil Mangaluru, organized one day workshop “TWO WHEELER SERVICE CAMP - 19”, for the students on 25 th September 2019 in the Automobile Department workshop. Shri. Sanjay Shetty, General Manager, Matrix Honda, Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the chief guest and motivated the students, and urged them to set a high goal and plan accordingly, to achieve it, to ensure success. He also stressed about the need to adapt to latest technologies by constant knowledge up gradation to cope up with future of Automobile industry. Mr. Bharat, Training engineer, Matrix Honda, Mangaluru gave a technical talk on BS6 norms and programming in fuel injection. Dr. Ramakrishna N. Hegde, HOD, Automobile Engineering, in his speech explained the importance of service sector in Automobile and asked the student to improve their observation skills, which could help them to learn and analyze the problems. He also advised the students to take part in the technical hands on activities, so that they can get practical knowledge. Shri. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao, President of Srinivas Group of Institutions and Chancellor of Srinivas University, Mangalore, who visited during this occasion appreciated the students learning appetite and congratulated the faculty for motivating the students in such skill development workshops regularly. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D. Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru wished the students a fruitful interaction with the experts during the workshop .Mr. Ryanish AR. welcomed the gathering. Mr. Faizen Khan introduced the chief guest and Mr. Mohammed Shahin Student coordinator delivered the vote of thanks. Master of ceremony was done by Mr. Fareed Hussain and Younus khan. The workshop was coordinated by Mr. Jerome Anthony, faculty advisor and organized by Mr. Amitkumar H. Assistant professor Automobile Department. More than 50 students actively participated in the workshop and more than 25 two wheelers were serviced. This workshop helped students to understand the basic check points required in general service and other maintenance viz., brake service, oil change, body water service of two wheelers .The workshop was successfully completed with the support form faculties ofAutomobile Department, HOD, Principal and the Management.
