Workshop on Converting ICEV to Plugin EV: A Step towards Sustainable Transportation

The Department of Mechanical and Marine Engineering hosted a workshop on converting Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles (ICEV) to Plugin Electric Vehicles (EV) on May 25th, 2024. The event aimed to educate students on the importance of transitioning from traditional ICEV to eco-friendly EVs. The workshop was led by experienced mechanical staff, who guided students through the conversion process, sharing their expertise and hands-on knowledge. Dr. Shankar KS, Head of Mechanical Engineering, emphasized the significance of shifting from ICEV to EV, highlighting the environmental benefits and the role it plays in reducing carbon footprint. Principal Dr. ShrinivasaMayya D inaugurated the event and wished the students success in their endeavors.
