Wings & Wheels Innovation Challenge

The Department of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil Mangaluru in collaboration with the Yukti Innovation Cell and IIC organized the Wings and Wheels Innovation Challenge on 13th August 2025 at 200 PM The event was held at Room M501 5th Floor Mechanical Block SIT Mangaluru The event serves as a platform to showcase creativity and innovation in the fields of aeronautics and automobiles It encourages participants to tackle emerging challenges in the transportation and mobility sector by generating fresh ideas developing viable solutions and presenting their results Its structure is aimed at cultivating an innovationoriented mindset strengthening problemsolving skills and promoting entrepreneurial thinking among students The Wings and Wheels Innovation Challenge was guided by Dr Sandesh Kumar Rai Head of Automobile Engineering with Principal Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D emphasizing the value of innovation The event was effectively organized under the leadership of Dr Praveen Shenoy Head of Aeronautical Engineering and IIC Coordinator while Mr Jagadeesh B Yukti Innovation Cell Coordinator ensured its smooth and successful execution The event encouraged active engagement between participants mentors and evaluators creating meaningful exchanges vital for innovation Students interacted with professionals through discussions clarifications and idea sharing in an open learning atmosphere Mentors guided participants with constructive feedback to refine ideas enhance designs and align solutions with practical applications Evaluators offered valuable inputs that inspired new perspectives and creative thinking This collaborative process promoted knowledge sharing confidence building and the development of communication and entrepreneurial skills The program concluded with the final evaluation and prize distribution honoring the most innovative solutions
