Visit to Student Center, Ahmedabad University Campus

The current 6’th semester B. Arch students of Srinivas School of Architecture (SSA) visited Ahmedabad University campus on 05-03-2024. There were 30 students accompanied by their faculty namely; Ar. Leslie J. Dias and Ar. Colin A. Pinto.The campus is designed by the notable French architect Stephane Paumier of SPA Design. The group visited the student center block and Faculty of engineering block of the campus.The Student center block is the heart of campus life. It houses facilities like a food court, music room, sports hall, gym, squash and table tennis courts, club and placement offices. There were spaces given for social interaction and group study on each floor. The terrace level athletics track and footstall court with a roofing of solar panels was a unique Architectural design feature.The class and faculty are grateful to the Student center in charge and the student representatives for organizing the tour through the campus.
