Vanamahotsav-Divas2022

Vanamahotsav was organized on 19/07/22 by Green Cell and NSS Unit. Prof.Gourish Hegde welcomed the gathering. President of the function Dr.C.A Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor, Srinivas University and President, A Shama Rao Foundation ,Mangalore elaborated on responsibilities to save our forest and also he contributed 300 fruits saplings and encouraged students to make the campus a green campus, also to eat the fruits from it. Chief Guest of the function Dr.Srinivas Rao, Pro Chancellor, Srinivas University and Vice-President, A Shama Rao Foundation Mangalore, enlightened that we have to keep interacting with nature in one or other way ,which improves our physical and mental fitness.Green Cell Coordinator Dr.Soorya Narayana K. announced a program for students ,that every student has to plant a sapling and take its responsibility. Dr. Ajay ,Registrar (Development), Srinivas University Mangalore.Dr.Shrinivasa Mayya .D, Principal Srinivas Institute of Technology, was present during occasion. Principals of sister institutions and Hods of various department, NSS coordinator P.Rakesh Mallya, was present during the occasion.Miss.Asma Sheik,welcomed the gathering.Miss Jayashree and Wesly sam Thomas were the master of the ceremony. Mr.Ibrahim Khaleel thanked the gathering.
