VISIT TO HUMAYUN’S TOMB

On August 5, 2024, 20 students accompanied by 1 faculty of Srinivas School of Architecture made a visit to the Humayun’s Tomb. It proved to be an invaluable experience for our architectural study group. The group spent two hours exploring the complex, focusing on the intricate details of the Mughal architecture. Key architectural elements such as the symmetric layout, integration of gardens and the buildings, dome construction, materials were thoroughly analyzed. Overall, the visit offered an enriching experience and insights into Mughal architecture.
