VALEDICTORY OF AIMES AND FAREWELL TO FINAL YEAR MARINE ENGINEERING STUDENTS

The Department of Marine Engineering organized the valedictory function of AIMES and farewell to the final year Marine Engineering students on 12-08-2020 through video conferencing. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology presided over the program and he asked the students to use online resources to upgrade their skill. He also congratulated the office bearers of AIMES for the successful programs organized in the academic year 2019-2020. Dr. Shankar KS, HOD, Marine Engineering, congratulated the outgoing students on this occasion. He also motivated the students to involve themselves in online learning in the new academic year, and to update themselves to the constant change in technology. Prof. Chandra jogi, in charge HOD, emphasized the importance of education and explained how to best use the available opportunities to secure themselves a successful career. The outgoing students shared their wonderful experiences on this occasion. Prof. Vivek Vijay Kumar hosted the video conferencing. The program was invoked by Ms. Smrithi of 2nd year Marine Engineering. Mr. Girish Kalluguddi, Vice President of AIMES welcomed the gathering. The faculty advisor Prof. Nithin Joshuva briefed about the association activities for the year 2019-20. Mr. Niranjan Borade of 2nd year Marine Engineering delivered the vote of thanks.
