Tide Tracker 2025 – Robotics Competition by ECE Department at SIT, Mangaluru

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT), hosted the dynamic robotics competition “Tide Tracker”. The event, held in the SIT Auditorium, witnessed an electrifying display of precision engineering and autonomous navigation. “Tide Tracker” challenged participants to design and program line-following robots capable of autonomously navigating a 5-meter track embedded with turns and obstacles. The competition was judged by Mr. Safwan, whose expert evaluation focused on speed, accuracy, and consistency. With stringent rules barring any manual control or external guidance, the event tested the true capabilities of autonomous robotics. The event was coordinated efficiently by Mr. Samartha H M (ECE) and Mr. Vishwas Gowda R (EEE).
