The inaugural function of CSI Student Chapter

The inaugural function of CSI (Computer Society of India)- Student Chapter, Srinivas Institute of Technology was held on 30-09-2019. Mr. Shamnas C. V., CEO, Socialhoox, Manipal was the Chief Guest of the function.

Mr. Shamnas C. V., in his inaugural address spoke about the current technology changes and he urged the students to update the technical skills. He encouraged the students to make use of the platform that CSI provides to fine-tune and showcase their skills and talents. He also insisted students to explore the opportunities.

Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, the Principal of the College, in his Presidential address, urged the students to share the knowledge and actively participate in the activities of CSI as a team.

Dr. Shivakumar G.S., HOD, Department of Computer Science, encouraged the students to make use of CSI platform to improve the leadership qualities and exhibit their talent. Prof. Mohan K, Student Branch Coordinator, CSI Student Chapter, gave brief overview of CSI and also introduced office bearers for the academic year 2019-20.

The program was welcomed by Ms. Anarghya U., President, CSI and Mr. Sharath Kumar, Secretary, CSI delivered the vote of thanks.
