Technical Session by Mechanical Department

Talk on “Opportunities and Challenges in Entrepreneurship The Department of Marine Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, in collaboration with the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) and AIMES, organized a talk on “Opportunities and Challenges in Entrepreneurship” on 23rd November 2024. The session was led by Prof. Sathya Prakash A, Assistant Professor from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who served as the resource person. Prof. Sathya Prakash shared valuable insights into the entrepreneurial ecosystem, emphasizing the identification of opportunities, overcoming challenges, and fostering innovation and leadership. Through real-world examples, he inspired participants to venture into entrepreneurship, highlighting the importance of networking and strategic thinking. The event coordinated by Prof. Chandra Jogi, Department IIC coordinator and Prof. Sunil Prakash R, AIMES coordinator and AIMES members. This event received an enthusiastic response, reflecting the institute’s commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurial skills.
