Technical Talk on AWS and DevOps

The Department of MCA in collaboration with the EDP Cell and the Incubation & Start-Up Cell organized a technical talk on AWS and DevOps on 9th December 2024 at MCA Lab-1. The session was conducted by Ms Bharghavi Rao a DevOps Engineer at Micro Degree Mangalore and aimed to equip students with practical insights into cloud computing and modern software development practices. Ms Bharghavi Rao provided an overview of key AWS services such as EC2 S3 and Lambda followed by an introduction to DevOps principles like Continuous Integration and Deployment CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code IaC. The session included a hands-on component where participants learned to configure AWS environments and set up CI/CD pipelines under her expert guidance. The program concluded with an interactive Q&A session where attendees discussed industry trends and career opportunities in cloud technologies and DevOps. Participants appreciated the session for its clarity relevance and practical approach making it a valuable learning experience for aspiring tech professionals.
