STARTUP SUCCESS: NAVIGATING MSME PATH

On 5th July 2024, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), organized an insightful talk titled Startup Success: Navigating MSME Path. This event was dedicated to exploring various facets of startups, entrepreneurship, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The session featured three distinguished student speakers from the third-year AI&DS cohort. Mr. Shivayogi initiated the session with an engaging discourse on entrepreneurship, highlighting the importance of innovation, risk-taking, and the entrepreneurial mindset necessary for success in the modern business landscape. Following this, Miss Mokshashree delved into the intricacies of startups, offering valuable insights into the startup ecosystem, including idea generation, market analysis, and securing funding. Lastly, Miss Bhoomika provided a comprehensive overview of MSMEs, discussing their critical role in economic development, challenges faced by MSMEs, and strategies for growth and sustainability. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Nagaraja Hebbar N, the Head of the AI&DS Department, and Prof. Sneha Bose, the Faculty Advisor, who both emphasized the importance of such discussions in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. The talk was well-received by the audience.
