Workshop on SQL Foundations 2024

The Association of Information Science and Engineering Department (AISE) organized a workshop on 'SQL Foundations: Building Blocks of Database' on 21st September 2024. The workshop covered SQL fundamentals, focusing on data creation, manipulation, and querying within relational databases. Practical sessions on writing basic SQL queries and aggregate functions were conducted to solve real-life problems. Hands-on exercises explored complex scenarios, showcasing SQL's vital role in data management and analysis. The event was supported by Prof. Sudarshan K (HOD, ISE) and coordinated by Ms. Jayashree K R and Ms. Sinchana (7th Sem ISE), under the guidance of Prof. Sowmya, Staff Advisor of AISE. Students from 5th Semester IS&E and CS&D actively participated.
