Inauguration of Faculty Development Programme- “Placement is a Process, not an event”

A one day Faculty Development Programme on “Placement is a Process, not an event” was organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC) ,Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru on Friday 19th March 2021. The Chief Guest of the function Mrs. Tejashree, Group Director, Naxeva Group of Companies, Bengaluru in her inaugural address encouraged the faculties to nurture the next generation engineers by working passionately towards the placement process. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal & IQAC Chairman of the college, in his Presedential address urged the faculty members to adapt towards the changes implemented in new education policy and facilitate the students for getting a better job in reputed companies. Dr. Shivakumar G. S, H.O.D, CS&E and IQAC Director gave a brief overview on the activities of the IQAC cell and aslo the role of faculties in successful placement. The program was welcomed by Dr. Shankar K. S, H.O.D, Department of Mechanical Engineering and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Hariprakash U P, Professor, Department of MBA. The entire program was compered by Mr. Steevan Robert Tellis, Professor, Department of MBA.
