Report on the session “My Success Story”

A session on My Success story was organized by the MBA department in association with IIC on Webex platform on 20th November 2023. Mr. Lathiya Hiren, Founder, Leemboodi Fashions Surat, Gujarat was the resource person. He shared his own story of starting Leemboodi Fashions, how he entered into fashion business market highlighting the challenges he faced and currently how he expanded his store, warehouses and created four brands which are sold directly through website as well as in amazon and flipkart. He emphasized the importance of identifying opportunities in the market especially using e commerce to start the business. The resource person encouraged the students to explore their passion and interests while considering potential business ideas. He highlighted the significance of persistence, determination, and hard work and discipline during college days will help in building professionalism. During the session, he also emphasized on using of internet and e commerce can help in improving the profitability of business. He also motivated the students to starts their own business and be an Entrepreneur. Around 150 students of first year MBA were present for the session.
