Report on Inauguration of Srinivas Advanced Manufacturing and Research Theatre (SAMARTH)

The inaugural function of Srinivas Advanced Manufacturing and Research Theatre (SAMARTH), of Mechanical engineering department, Srinivas Institute of Technology , Valachil, Mangaluru, was held on Saturday 21st December 2023. Mr. Madhav Shanbhag, Customer relation officer, JSW Paints PVT Ltd., was the Chief Guest of the function. Mr. Abhishek Bhandi of 5th sem mechanical Engineering welcomed the gathering, where as Ms Thejaswini of 3rd sem Mechanical Engineering invoked the blessings of god through her prayer. Dr. Shankar K S, Hod of Mechanical Engineering department addressed the students and thanked Mr. Madhav Shanbhag for his contribution in building SAMARTH. He also briefed about the purpose of setting the research theatre. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of the college, was the president of the inaugural function, in his presidential address, he encouraged the students to make use of the new technologies available and grow themselves and to be prepared for the upcoming increase in demand for the Mechanical engineers. Dr. Lokesh V, Hod of the Marine Engineering was present during the function. Mr. SathyaPrakash, Project Manager of SAMARTH was also present during the function. Mr Subrahmanya of 5th sem Mechanical Engineering delivered the vote of thanks. The program was compered by Mr. Chirayu G.
