Report on Hands on Training

SIT ECE Department association “STEADY” organized a Hands on Training on “Introduction to Dark Web and Wireless Network Security '' in Association with SSOSC and Morho X. This program was conducted on 21-06-2023. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among students about cyber threats and teach them preventive measures. It covered topics such as computer forensics, Android hacking simulation and prevention, wireless network hacking and prevention, website hacking and ethical bounties, IP logging risks and privacy protection, social media account security analysis and an introduction to the dark web and anonymity. The workshop lasted for three hours and had over 45 participants from the 4th sem ECE students. It included various sessions with practical demonstrations and real-life case studies to actively engage the participants and enhance their learning experience. The workshop successfully provided insights into cyber attack techniques and emphasized the importance of cyber security practices.
