Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Department of Marine Engineering

On October 31st, 2023, at 2:00 PM, the Student Associations of Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, collaborated with the National Service Scheme (NSS) to observe Rashtriya Ekta Diwas through a pledge-taking ceremony. The event saw active participation from students and faculty members of the Mechanical and Marine Engineering Departments.This commemoration was a tribute to the principles advocated by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, renowned as the Iron Man of India, and highlighted the institute's ongoing commitment to nurturing unity and solidarity within its academic community.Dr. Shankar K S, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Lokesh V, Head of the Department of Marine Engineering, took the lead during the ceremony, emphasizing the college's dedication to upholding the nation's unity, integrity, and security. The event's significance was further emphasized by the presence of Prof. Sunil Prakash R, coordinator of AIMES and NSS, along with Prof. Satya Prakash, coordinator of ASMA.
