RECENT INNOVATIONS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE ICRICS-2023

An International Conference on “Recent Innovations in Computer Science”- (ICRICS-2023)” was organized by the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering,allied branches and Master of Computer Applications on June 22nd and 23rd 2023 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil Mangaluru. Mr. D Vishnu Prasad, State Head Karnataka, ICT Academy was the Chief Guest of this conference. Speaking on the occassion, Mr. D Vishnu Prasad urged the participants to work collaboratively and to develop their technical skills with new and innovative ideas that would be benificial for the society.Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Patron and Principal of the college, in his inaugural address, said that this conference drives in a special opportunity to bring together professors, researchers, and scholars around the globe, and serves as a platform to deliver innovative research results and the latest trends and development in the fields of Computer Science and allied branches. He also insisted that constant updation of technical knowledge in new research areas is necessary for the academic growth of oneself.The release of the book of all the abstarcts of the conference papers was done by the chief guest.The conference overview was briefed by Prof. Ravishankara K, Convener & H.O.D, Department of CS&E. The welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Shashidhar Kini, H.O.D, Department of MCA.The vote of thanks was rendered by Prof. Sudarshan K, H.O.D, Department of IS&E. Dr. Padmanayana, and Prof. Spoorthi compered the entire program.The formal function was followed by the key note addresses by eminent speakers Dr. Ragavendra U, Deputy Registrar, MAHE on the topic Impact of AI on Healthcare Delivery and Dr. Anjan Gudigar, Assistant Director-Academics, MIT, Manipal on the topic Current Trends in AI Techniques.More than 100 research papers, survey papers covering various domains related to computer science and AI were presented during the conference in hybrid mode.
