Photo walk XV.IIVIII 2023

Srinivas School of Architecture SSA, organized a photo walk event “XV. IIVIII”, to unravel the architecture memories and explore Old Mangalore. The event was planned and coordinated by Ar. Shravya Hegde and Vignesh I V, Student Coordinator on 23’rd May 2023. The walk was in the Old Mangalore port precinct “Bundar”. The 15 participants observed the traditional vernacular buildings, the winding street layout and the oldest mosque in the state of Karnataka, called Zeenath Baksh Jama Masjid.The walk concluded with the students expressing their thoughts and experiences and agreed that a photo walk was a unique way to understand local history and architecture.
