National Entrepreneurship Day Celebration

SRINIVAS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MANGALURU Institution’s Innovation Council and Entrepreneurship Development Program NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY CELEBRATION The Institution’s Innovation Council and Entrepreneurship Development Program jointly celebrated National Entrepreneurship Dayon Saturday, 09th November 2024, at 9:30 am in the Seminar Hall. The event was honoured by the presence of Ms. Akshatha Kapikkad, Community Manager, K-Tech Innovation Hub as the Chief Guest, whose motivational address captivated all attendees. Presiding over the occasion was Dr. Shankar K S, HoD, Mechanical Engineering Department, alongside Prof. Rakesh Sharma, Event Coordinator. Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator and Dr. Sooryakrishna K, EDP Cell Coordinator, provided their invaluable guidance, ensuring the event’s smooth execution. The program began with an invocation and a warm welcome address, followed by the introduction of the Chief Guest. While the Chief Guest talked about importance of mentoring of student entrepreneurs, the president of the function motivated the students to be entrepreneurs and innovators. At the end of the function the chief guest gave a talk on challenges in entrepreneurship and support provided by K-Tech Innovation Hub for budding entrepreneurs. She also provided information about the approach to be taken for successfully starting a entrepreneurship and how to obtain funding for the same. The program ended with Dr. Suresha D, HoD of CSE department, presenting the chief guest with a memento as a token pf our appreciation.
