The month-long internship, conducted from July 5 to August 5, 2018, was a collaborative endeavor between Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT) and ND Sons, Mangalore, tailored for BE mechanical students. This comprehensive program aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial applications.Throughout this internship, students were immersed in a practical learning environment at ND Sons, a prominent establishment known for its expertise in mechanical engineering. They gained invaluable hands-on experience across various facets of mechanical engineering,ranging from design principles to manufacturing processes.Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, students actively engaged in practical projects, learning the intricacies of machinery, production methodologies, and quality control measures. The internship provided a platform for students to witness firsthand the application of theoretical knowledge in actual industrial settings.The collaboration between SIT and ND Sons fostered an environment conducive to learning and skill development.
