NAAC Accreditation Celebration

SRINIVAS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,MANGALURU NAAC ACCREDITED Department of Computer Science and Engineering Code-a-Thon On November 7, 2024, XL Pro Developers hosted a dynamic 7-hour hackathon, Code-a-Thon, at the SSOSC lab, which drew an enthusiastic turnout of 53 teams. The hackathon featured two competitive tracks—Circuits and Non-Circuits—tailored to challenge the problem-solving skills of participants. The Circuits track presented three problem statements, while the noncircuits track offered two, allowing teams to showcase technical creativity and collaboration. The event commenced with a formal function, graced by the Principal, Dr. Srinivasa Mayya D, who inspired participants with motivational words. Reema from the 5th-semester CS B section emceed the opening ceremony, adding to the events spirited start. Student coordinators Pranaw Kumar and Nilesh, both from the 7th-semester CS B section, played key roles in organizing the event, supported by staff coordinator Mr. Alwyn Edison Mendonca and the Head of the Department, Dr. Suresha D.The competition was fierce, but ultimately the winnersemerged with Team Raudra claiming first place in the Circuital track, followed by Team Code Crafters in second. In the non-circuital track, Team Aero took the top spot, with Team Mecholtz securing second place. The event concludedat4:00PM,leaving participants energized by the experience and celebrating their achievements in technical innovation.
