Mechanical Department Innovation Competition

Shama Rao Foundation Srinivas Institute of Technology (Approved by AICTE New Delhi, Govt. of Karnataka, Bengaluru Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi) Valachil, Merlapadavu, Mangaluru - 574 143 Department of Marine and Mechanical Engineering Report on event “Enigma 2.0” The Department of Marine and Mechanical Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology, under the banners of AIMES and ASMA, jointly organized a technical competition titled “Enigma 2.0 - Encrypt and Decrypt” on November 11, 2024. The Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Shankar K. S., addressed the students, encouraging them to participate in inter-department competitions and explaining how these events contribute to personality development. Dr. Lokesh V., Head of the Department of Marine Engineering, congratulated the students for organizing the competition and encouraged them to come up with more such ideas Prof. Sunil Prakash R., Staff Coordinator of AIMES, and Prof. Sathya Prakash A., Staff Coordinator of ASMA, were present during the inauguration program. A total of 20 teams from various departments participated in the event. Mr. Sai Madhav S, the student coordinator of AIMES, hosted the program. Mr. Karthik N, the student coordinator of ASMA, was also present during the event. The competition was successfully coordinated and completed under the guidance and support of the principal, Dr. Shrinivas Mayya D.
