MASM-Talk-on-Entrepreneurship-2023

Srinivas Institute of Technology MCA department has organized Guest lecturer on the topic“Entrepreneurship “On 7th March at 9:00 am in the seminar Hall. The dignitaries presided are Dr. Shashidhar Kini K Head of the department of MCA, Mr. Gaurav kamath co-founder of Micro degree, chief guest of function and Mr.Rakesh co-founder of Micro degree, Mr. Rajesh Naik, MASM coordinator. The program was initiated with the Prayer. Dr. Shashidhar Kini K formally welcomed all the dignitaries, teaching and non-teaching staff and students and also introduced the chief guest Mr.Gaurav Kamath to the gathering. Mr. Gaurav Kamath is the co-founder and CEO at MicroDegree, Mangalore. He has 8+ years of work experience. Graduated in BE in Biotechnology from NMAMIT, NItte in the year 2015, he has worked across companies such as Infosys, Acenture & Tracxn. Mr. Gourav Kamath delivered a talk on Entrepreneurship, how to start with and enterprise, what are the different areas to be identified before being an entrepreneur. He also explained about the failures which he had faced during his start-up journey. He suggested a few guidelines to overcome this failure. In the next half of the session Mr. Rakesh, co-founder of Micro Degree, briefed about latest technologies for which the students must concentrate. He explained how to get an entry into an IT job and mentioned different skills needed to become an IT developer. At the end of the program Dr. Shashidhar Kini K, Head of the department honored the chief guest by giving the memento. Mr. Rajesh Naik, Faculty Advisor proposed the vote of thanks.
