KIDILONAM-2K23

The department of MCA celebrated a vibrant and culturally enriching Onam Festival called 'KIDILONAM 2K23' on August 24, 2023. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff to commemorate the traditional harvest festival of Kerala.The Guests of the event were Dr.Shashidhar Kini K HOD of MCA department and Prof. Rajesh Naik Coordinator of the event and all the faculties and non-teaching staff of the department along with departmental students. The Onam celebration began with a warm welcome to all the gathering by Ms.Vaishnavi Coordinator of the event. This creates an atmosphere of unity and joy. Ms. Vaishnavi also gave a small introduction of about the mythology and stories associated with Onam.The classes are decorated and the venue was adorned with vibrant floral arrangements and traditional "pookalam", which added a touch of authenticity to the ambiance. The decorations mirrored the spirit of Onam and created an inviting space for all participants. To capture the essence of Onam, the celebration included mesmerizing cultural performances. KIDILONAM 2K23 is organized by the team members Ms.Shreya Das G, Mr.Amal Babu, Mr. Shivan K, Mr. Arunkrishna, Mr. Ganesh Navada,Ms.Akhila PR, Ms.Archana and Ms.Vaishnavi. The celebrations filled with a variety of games and activities. Organizing committee framed 5 teams between the students. Teams names are Olan, Avial, Kalan, Pachadi, Kichadi. All the competitions are done between those five teams. All five teams enjoyed and participated in completions like flip tak toe, Kathikal, Cracker Crunch, stack the items, bounce the bomb, Kasera kali, lemon dash, Who am I ! Pyramid,Quick swipe. Winners are awarded with prizes.Finally vote of thanks given by Mr.Amal Babu and thanked everyone for their active involvement for the successful program
