Internship Project Expo titled “Innovation Nexus: Discover Tomorrow's Ideas at the Intern Showcase

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) and the Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) jointly organized an Internship Project Expo titled Innovation Nexus: Discover Tomorrow's Ideas at the Intern Showcase under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on July 13th, 2024. This event provided a platform for students to showcase their innovative internship projects. The expo was honoured by the presence of Mr. Chethan S Poojary, who served as the resource person for the event. The expo featured a diverse array of projects, primarily from the MERN stack, Android development, and other fields. Each student team had the opportunity to present their projects, explaining their objectives, methodologies, and the impact of their work. Mr. Chethan S. Poojary commended the students for their ingenuity and dedication. He provided valuable insights into industry standards and expectations, encouraging students to align their projects with real-world applications. His feedback was particularly appreciated as it offered a professional perspective, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. The event allowed students to demonstrate their hard work and innovation and fostered a spirit of healthy competition and collaborative learning. It was an enriching experience for all attendees, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and professional growth. Overall, Innovation Nexus was a resounding success, leaving students motivated and inspired to further their research and project development endeavors. This program was supported by our beloved principal Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D and Dr. Ramakrishna N Hegde, Convenor of IIC and Head of the department AE and AU. The event was successfully initiated and completed with the help of Prof. Nagaraja Hebbar N, Head of the Department, AI&DS, and Prof. Sudarshan K, Head of the Department, IS&E.
