Inauguration function of activities of All Students’ Mechanical Association(ASMA)

The first event of the All-Students Mechanical Association (ASMA) for the academic year 2023-24 took place on December 15, 2023, at Srinivas Institute of Technology in Valachil, Mangaluru. Mr. Ajith Kamath, the owner of Ajith Enterprises, served as the chief guest.ASMA faculty coordinator Prof. Sathyapraksh Anekallu read the pre-inaugural activities of ASMA and introduced office bearer of ASMA.Dr. Shankar K.S, the Head of Mechanical Engineering, motivated students to organize more events throughout the academic year. He thanked the guests for attending the event despite their busy schedules.The function was precided by Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, the Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, who emphasized the importance of engaging in various activities. He highlighted the pre-inaugural activities of the student association and encouraged active student participation.Mr. Ajith Kamath, the chief guest, discussed the vast opportunities in mechanical engineering and the existing gap between demand and supply of engineers. He expressed gratitude for the invitation extended to him.The function was attended by HoDs and faculty members from various departments. The coordination of the program was overseen by Prof. SathyaPrakash Anekallu, ASMA Faculty Advisor.Ms. Thejasvini initiated the program, and Mr. Deekshith, ASMA President, welcomed the attendees. Mr. Sumanth Rao, ASMA Secretary, delivered the vote of thanks. The introduction of the chief guest was given by Mr. Gautham, a 3rd-semester Mechanical Engineering student. Mr. Chirayu GD and Mr. Kapthi Mohammad Sahil, of 7th-semester Mechanical Engineering students served as the masters of ceremony.
